When you need editable text
Use PDF to Word when the main goal is to reuse text in an editable document. Text-based PDFs work better than photographed pages. Scans usually need optical character recognition, and complex columns, forms, and precise typography may require manual cleanup after conversion.
When you need images
Use PDF to JPG for compact, widely compatible page images. Use PDF to PNG when diagrams, interface screenshots, or sharp text benefit from lossless image output. A PDF containing many pages will produce multiple image files.
When images or documents must become a PDF
Use JPG to PDF or PNG to PDF to combine images into a document with a chosen page layout. Use Word to PDF for a DOCX document. Because the Word workflow relies on browser rendering and printing, confirm fonts, page breaks, headers, and tables in the preview.
Conversion is different from organization
