How to add a photo to a video

  1. Choose a video file.
  2. Upload an overlay image (JPG, PNG, or WebP).
  3. Choose its position and size.
  4. Select Add photo, then preview and download the result.

How this works

Your browser plays the video while drawing your overlay image onto every frame of a canvas, then records that canvas — combined with the original audio — into a new WebM file using your browser's own recording engine. No video is uploaded, and no server-side conversion is involved.

A note on scope

The overlay image stays in the same position for the whole video. Because recording happens in real time, this takes roughly as long as the video's own length.

Common use cases

  • Add a logo or watermark to a video
  • Overlay a photo onto a video clip
  • Brand a video with a small corner image
