How to loop a video

  1. Choose a video file.
  2. Set how many times to loop it.
  3. Select Loop video.
  4. Preview and download the result.

How this works

Your browser plays the video from the start, over and over, while continuously recording the canvas and audio into a single new WebM file using your browser's own recording engine. No video is uploaded, and no server-side conversion is involved.

A note on scope

Because recording happens in real time, looping takes roughly as long as the source clip's length multiplied by the number of loops. The source clip is limited to 60 seconds, and the output is a WebM file, which plays natively in all current browsers.

Common use cases

  • Turn a short clip into a longer looping background video
  • Repeat an animation or effect multiple times
  • Create a looping video for a display or presentation

Frequently asked questions

Is this video looper free?

Yes. It is completely free, with no signup and no watermark.

Is my video uploaded anywhere?

No. The video is looped entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to Inqita or stored.

How many times can I loop a video?

Between 2 and 10 times.

Why does looping take a while?

The output is recorded in real time using your browser's own recording engine, so processing takes roughly as long as the total looped length.

What format is the looped video?

WebM, a widely supported video format that plays in all current browsers and most media players and apps.
