How this works

Your browser plays each clip in order while drawing its frames onto a shared canvas (letterboxed so clips of different shapes are never stretched or cropped), and records the whole sequence — with each clip's own audio automatically routed in at the right moment — into a single new WebM file using your browser's own recording engine. No video is uploaded, and no server-side conversion is involved.

A note on scope

Because recording happens in real time, joining takes roughly as long as the combined length of all clips. The output is a WebM file, which plays natively in all current browsers and most modern media players and apps.

Common use cases

  • Combine several clips into one video to share
  • Merge multiple recordings into a single file
  • Stitch together a sequence of short clips

Frequently asked questions

Is this video joiner free?

Yes. It is completely free, with no signup and no watermark.

Are my videos uploaded anywhere?

No. The videos are joined entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to Inqita or stored.

Can I join videos with different shapes or resolutions?

Yes. Clips with a different aspect ratio than the first one are automatically letterboxed (black bars added) so nothing gets stretched or cropped.

How many clips can I join?

Up to 8 clips, with a combined size limit of 300 MB.

Can I reorder clips before joining?

Yes. Use the Up and Down buttons on each clip to set the order they'll play in.
